Products description
Inconel 600 wire mesh (alloy 600) is a nickel-chromium alloy, with added iron, designed for applications requiring resistance to both corrosion and extreme temperatures. As such,Inconel 600 can be used in environments with temperatures ranging from cryogenic to 2050°F. Its high nickel content gives alloy 600 wire cloth excellent resistance to alkaline solutions, reducing conditions, chloride stress-corrosion cracking and a wide array of inorganic organic compounds. Its high chromium content gives Inconel 600 wire mesh good resistance to various alkaline salt solutions, caustic environments, oxidizing environments and sulfur compounds. When compared to pure Nickel 200 and Nickel 201,the chromium content Alloy 600 wire mesh gives it superior resistance in oxidizing settings.
Inconel 600 wire mesh characteristics
Ideal for use in elevated-temperature settings up to 2050°F.
Non-magnetic in all conditions.
Resists steam and mixtures of air, carbon dioxide, and steam.
Good for use against pitting & crevice corrosion in chlorides; great for use against caustics.
Excellent for use against chloride stress corrosion cracking.
Not for use in hydrochloric, hydrofluoric, nitric, or sulphuric acids.
Can be cut, formed, and welded.
Inconel 600 wire mesh is principally used in high-temperature environment that also present corrosive, oxidizing or reducing agents. Following is the industries which commonly use this mesh
Aerospace.
Chemical Processing
Electronic Components
Food Processing
Gas Turbine Components
Heat Exchangers
Pressure Valves
Pulp & Paper
